How Lemons.life handles your information ยท Last updated September 2026
We are Lemons.life. We help women get financially ready before life forces their hand, and that means you sometimes tell us things about your money. This page explains what we do with that, in plain English. No small print games.
If anything here is unclear, email us at contact@lemons.life and a person will answer.
Who we are
Lemons.life Limited is the data controller for the information described here. That means we decide what is collected and what happens to it.

- Registered office: 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE

What we collect, and when
When you sign up for a webinar or event
First name, email address, your answer to the income question on the form, any question you want to put to the presenter, and whether you have asked for a follow-up chat with an adviser.
When you take the Find Your Path assessment
Your answers to the eight questions, which cover things like savings, insurance, pensions, wills and how confident you feel. If you give us your name and email to see your result, we collect those too.
When you contact us
Your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us in the message.
When you enquire about a Will or a Lasting Power of Attorney
The contact details and information you give us so the service can be set up.
When you simply use the website
Your IP address and the pages you looked at, recorded in the standard server logs our host keeps. See the cookie section below.
We do not ask for and do not want your bank details, card numbers, National Insurance number or passwords. Nobody from Lemons.life will ever email you asking for them.

Who we share it with
Quilter Financial Advisers Limited. All financial advice on Lemons.life is provided by Quilter. If you tick the box asking for a chat with an adviser, or you book a meeting after an event, we pass your name, email and the relevant context to Quilter so an adviser can get in touch. Quilter then handles your information under its own privacy notice, as its own data controller. We do not pass your details to Quilter unless you have asked us to. You can read Quilter Financial Advisers Ltd's privacy notice.
Private Client Online. Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney are provided through Lemons.life in partnership with Private Client Online. If you use that service, we share what is needed to deliver it.
The companies that keep us running. Our website host and developer, our email and form tools, the platform we run webinars on, and Google reCAPTCHA, which stops bots filling in our forms. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
Anyone the law requires. If we are legally obliged to hand information over, we will.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers.
Where your information goes
Some of the companies above are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where that happens we make sure the transfer is covered by UK-approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Event sign-ups and enquiries: two years after your last contact with us
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, and then a minimal record so we know not to email you again
- Assessment answers: two years
- Records we have to keep for tax and accounting: six years
- Website and analytics data: 14 months
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop or limit what we do with it
- send it to you or someone else in a portable format
- stop using it for direct marketing, at any time, no reason needed
- withdraw consent you have given, without affecting what happened before you withdrew it
Email contact@lemons.life and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have a legal or similarly significant effect. Your assessment result is a guide, not a decision.
If you are not happy with how we have handled things, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. No advertising tags, no pixels, nothing that follows you from our site to anyone else's. That is why you do not get a cookie pop-up when you arrive, and we would rather keep it that way.
A form may set a short-lived technical cookie while you are filling it in. That is what the rules call strictly necessary, and it does not need your permission.
If we ever add anything beyond that, we will ask you first and this page will change.
Children
Lemons.life is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you.
