If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

 


Documents and Services ordered from the Website

  • Please check that the Documents and Services we offer are suitable for your use before you    order from our Website. 
     

  • To order Documents and/or Services from our website, you will need to register your details with us. By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

     

  • The Documents and Services are not suitable for you if your permanent home is not in England or Wales or if you own a business, agricultural property or assets outside of the UK.

     

  • You must be 18 years or over in order to register and to order Documents and/or Services from us.

     

  • You agree to take particular care when providing us with your details and warrant that these details are accurate and complete at the time of registration and are not false or misleading or misrepresent your identity. Where requested, you must provide us with valid and complete contact details including your date of birth, a valid email address and a valid residential address.

     

  • When registering with us you will be required to provide an email address and password. You must ensure that you keep these details secure and do not provide this information to a third party. You agree to adhere to best practice in maintaining security as a user and in particular to selecting and confidentially storing passwords which adhere to best practice. We will not be liable for any unauthorised access by a third party using your email address and password.


 


Our contract with you

Our acceptance of your order for Documents and/or Services will take place at the time payment is made, at which point your information will be received by Private Client Online (Wills) Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales company number 11614069 registered office 14 Park Row, Nottingham, NG1 6GR

Your contract will then be with them. They will provide you with their terms and conditions by email as soon as they receive your order. The terms and conditions of Private Client Online are as follows.


                       
1. Service we provide
             

Terms of Business
       
Private Client Online is a trading style of Private Client Online (Wills) Limited. Private Client Online (Wills) Limited is a specialist provider of online will services and works exclusively with specialist firms of solicitors to deliver a first class service and advice that you can trust.
                 
We provide you with an intuitive web application with which to provide us with your will instructions and we use the information provided to draft your will to your requirements. We will assume, in preparing your legal documentation, that the information provided to us is true and correct and we will not be responsible for any loss suffered as a result of incorrect or false information.
                 
2. What you will receive

We will notify you of updates and the status of the work being carried out by email and/or text message to the email address and/or mobile number you provide to us via our software. When your will is ready to be posted to you we will send it by first class post and will notify you when it is posted.
 Please note: If you do not receive your documents within 5 working days of receiving this notification please contact us to arrange for us to provide you with a further copy of the document. If you do not contact us, we will assume that you have received the document.
                         

3. What we do not provide


                            


We do not provide any ongoing advice whatsoever unless specifically instructed to do so. It is your responsibility to consider changing your will or reviewing your estate planning needs if legislation changes or your circumstances change.


 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you sign your will when you receive it and that you follow our ‘How to Sign Your Will’ guide correctly. We will not be liable for any loss related to the incorrect execution of your will and/or any loss suffered as a result of not signing your will.


                        

4. Fees
                             


 

Our fees are fixed and are not subject to VAT.


 

In the event that we have to amend and re-send your documents through no fault of our own then we reserve the right to charge an additional administration fee of £25.


                        

5. Rights of Cancellation
                          

 

You have a right to cancel this agreement with us provided you do so in writing to reach us within 14 calendar days of receipt of payment using the Model Cancellation Form attached. However, due to the nature of our service, we must act on instructions in a timely manner and you hereby agree that we may provide the services to you immediately rather than waiting for the end of the cooling-off period before commencing work. As a result, if you
 cancel within the cooling-off period but after we have provided the service then you will not be entitled to a refund of your fee. This is standard practice for services which are to be provided immediately.
                 
6. Confidentiality and data protection
                 
In line with current data protection legislation, we will ensure that all necessary steps are taken to safeguard the confidentiality of your information and undertake not to disclose any information without your consent unless required to do so by law or where such disclosure is required in order to carry out your instructions (i.e. such as providing the necessary information to a firm of solicitors to draft legal document). Confidential information concerning the business and affairs of a client may not be used for purposes outside the scope of the professional services rendered without your prior consent.
                 
7. Complaints
                 
We assume that you will be pleased with the service we provide. However, we do have a formal complaints procedure in the unlikely event that you may be dissatisfied with our service. In order to deal with any complaints consistently and effectively please write to us at:

Lemons.Life is an unregulated organisation but some of our advisers are themselves individually regulated. Solicitors are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and they follow the SRA Standards and Regulations.

These terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
